Joni Griffin, RN began her distinguished nursing career in 1975, spending seven years in acute and critical care at Hanover Hospital. In 1982, she joined the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove (then known as Hanover VNA) as a staff nurse. During a period of rapid evolution in healthcare, Joni was instrumental in launching the VNA’s progressive new initiatives, including specialized training in IV chemotherapy and postpartum care.

Over her decades of service, Joni’s leadership grew alongside the organization. She served as Team Leader, Clinical Supervisor, and ultimately Director of Patient Services, where she oversaw home health, hospice, and the transition of Home Care Plus. Although she retired in 2024, Joni remains deeply committed to the VNA’s mission, continuing her involvement as a volunteer on the Professional Advisory Committee.
