April lives in the New Oxford area with her husband, Andy, and very much enjoys spending time with her family. She currently serves as the Director of Development for Homewood Retirement Centers, at both the Plum Creek and Frederick campuses. April feels blessed to have found her passion early in her career and has spent more than 20 years working in senior living and aging services, specifically in admissions, marketing, and development, right here in our area at such organizations as the Hanover Hospital, Homewood at Plum Creek and Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home Community. April has a degree in Sociology from York College and also holds certifications as a Personal Care Home Administrator, a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and a Certified Senior Advisor. She also serves as an active member of the Advisory Committee at the Adams County Office for Aging.
