Lauren James
As the Manager of Support Services at VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove, Lauren James brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate heart to her role. Lauren has been an integral part of the agency since 2015, initially joining as a full-time Hospice Social Worker. Her dedication to supporting patients and families during life's most challenging moments is unwavering.
Lauren has a master’s degree in social work and is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Shippensburg University, where she developed a strong foundation in social work principles and practices.
Throughout her career, Lauren has gained diverse experience in various social work settings, including community mental health, hospital social work, and school social work. Her involvement on multiple non-profit boards has further enriched her understanding of community needs and resources.
End-of-life care holds a special place in Lauren's heart, and she is deeply committed to providing comfort and support to patients and families facing terminal illnesses. Her empathetic approach and dedication to holistic care make her a valuable asset to the VNA team.
Outside of work, Lauren finds joy in spending time with her family and friends, cherishing the moments shared with loved ones. An avid runner, she embraces the freedom and serenity found in each stride, finding solace and rejuvenation on the open road.
