Bryan began his career with the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove in 2001 as the Finance Director/Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to President/CEO in 2013. Prior to joining the VNA, Bryan spent 23 years in accounting in a manufacturing environment.
During his tenure at the VNA, he has coordinated a $1.2 million project to renovate the agency’s office on Madison Street, oversaw the dissolution and merge of Community Health Services into our Home Care Plus service line, and grew the overall agency revenue 47% in 11 years.
Bryan is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Accounting. He is involved with several trade organizations as well as local community groups. Bryan is also an active member and volunteer at the Gettysburg Church of the Brethren.
As a resident of Gettysburg, Bryan enjoys the history and culture of the area. He also enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bryan is an avid volleyball player and appreciates time away at the beach.
Cindy McCoy MBA-HM, BSN, RN
Director of Hospice
Cindy started with the VNA in December of 2019 for a second time; Cindy previously worked with the VNA on a PRN basis from 2000-2005. Cindy started her nursing career in 1983 at Hanover General Hospital working in a medical-surgical unit. She was promoted to an Unit Coordinator of a medical
surgical/orthopedic unit in 2008. In 2012, she was promoted to the Nurse Manager.
Cindy left UPMC Hanover in 2019, and had provided a total of 35 years of nursing experience to their organization. In December of 2019 when she returned to the VNA, she assumed the role of Hospice Clinical Manager. On January 1st of 2021, Cindy was promoted to the position of, Director of Hospice.
Cindy is responsible for the strategic plan and operational functions of our Hospice department which includes quality and performance review, personnel management, referral source relations and fiscal accountability.
Cindy received her BSN in nursing from York College of Pennsylvania in 1983. She also received her MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University (WGU) in 2019. Cindy has been involved in her community by serving as the President of Northern York County Fire Rescue (NYCFR) for the past 6 years. She has been a member of the Celebration Community Church for the past 6 years. Cindy is also actively pursuing becoming a Health Coach since she loves seeing others make improvements, so they become a healthier version of themselves.
Cindy has 6 children and currently 1 grandchild however; she is happily awaiting the arrival of 2 more grandchildren in 2021. God is the center of her life, and she loves to share her positive energy through inspiring, and motivating others. Cindy’s favorite pastime is to spend quality time with her family. She especially loves to travel with her children and her grandchild.
Director of Human Resources
Jennifer has been employed with the VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove since 2011. Having worked in the Human Resources profession for 15+ years for small and large non-profit organizations, she is very familiar with all Human Resource functions such as employee and labor
relations, benefits and compensation, recruiting and retention, performance management, staff development, building strong relationships, etc. She is an expert in performing Human Resource responsibilities with professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentially.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Western Governor’s University and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from HR Certification Institute and a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society of Human Resource Management. She is a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management, the Hanover Area Human Resource Association, and the Hanover Area Management Association.
Jennifer resides in Glenville with her husband Tim, their two children, and their two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, boating, shopping, and crafts in her spare time.
Sharon Easton, RN, BSN
Director of Clinical Services - Home Care
Sharon started with the VNA in November of 2019. Although new to the VNA, she certainly is not new to the Home Health and Hospice fields. Sharon started in Home Health and Hospice in 1985 in Baltimore. She enjoyed her time as an RN providing Hospice care but her passion is Home Health.
Sharon has been an instrumental part of the many regulatory and medical changes in the industry during her career, but she enjoys the challenges involved to assure that clients receive the care necessary to optimize their level of functioning and to improve their quality of life.
The number of people 85 and over will grow the fastest over the next couple decades. Home Health services will be essential. Sharon strives to do her part to assure these populations’ needs are met. She is also committed to ensuring the VNA grows and remains current with the many technological and regulatory changes that affect our industry.
Sharon is married, has four children and 2 grandchildren. When she is not working she enjoys playing golf, boating, and time with her family and friends.
