Kevin joined the VNA in February 2022. Kevin grew up surrounded by parents who worked in home health(Kevin's father, a physical therapist, and mother a registered nurse), he knew at a young age he wanted to somehow follow in their footsteps. After graduating with a degree in physical therapy from Daemen College in 1991, he began his career in his hometown of St, Mary's PA, where he co-owned and operated Elk County Physical Therapy.
In 1996, Kevin joined Hanover Hospital as physical therapist working at Cherry Tree Rehab facility. He enjoyed a twenty-two-year career with Hanover Hospital where he spend his last thirteen years as the Director of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. During his tenure Kevin contributed to the successful growth and enhancement of rehab services across the region. Most recently Kevin was employed with WellSpan VNA's senior leadership team as the Director of Rehabilitation Services where he provided operational support and oversight to a home health team of over 200 employees across five counties.
Kevin and his wife, Beth, who is also a physical therapist, reside in Hanover with Beth's mother Jo, and their two boxers. He and his wife are avid triathletes spending most of their free time swimming, biking, and, running. Kevin also enjoys spending downtime outdoors with their dogs and working on landscape projects.
Cindy McCoy MBA-HM, BSN, RN
Director of Hospice
Cindy started with the VNA in December of 2019 for a second time; Cindy previously worked with the VNA on a PRN basis from 2000-2005. Cindy started her nursing career in 1983 at Hanover General Hospital working in a medical-surgical unit. She was promoted to an Unit Coordinator of a medical
surgical/orthopedic unit in 2008. In 2012, she was promoted to the Nurse Manager.
Cindy left UPMC Hanover in 2019, and had provided a total of 35 years of nursing experience to their organization. In December of 2019 when she returned to the VNA, she assumed the role of Hospice Clinical Manager. On January 1st of 2021, Cindy was promoted to the position of, Director of Hospice.
Cindy is responsible for the strategic plan and operational functions of our Hospice department which includes quality and performance review, personnel management, referral source relations and fiscal accountability.
Cindy received her BSN in nursing from York College of Pennsylvania in 1983. She also received her MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University (WGU) in 2019. Cindy has been involved in her community by serving as the President of Northern York County Fire Rescue (NYCFR) for the past 6 years. She has been a member of the Celebration Community Church for the past 6 years. Cindy is also actively pursuing becoming a Health Coach since she loves seeing others make improvements, so they become a healthier version of themselves.
Cindy has 6 children and currently 1 grandchild however; she is happily awaiting the arrival of 2 more grandchildren in 2021. God is the center of her life, and she loves to share her positive energy through inspiring, and motivating others. Cindy’s favorite pastime is to spend quality time with her family. She especially loves to travel with her children and her grandchild.
Director of Human Resources
Jennifer has been employed with the VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove since 2011. Having worked in the Human Resources profession for 15+ years for small and large non-profit organizations, she is very familiar with all Human Resource functions such as employee and labor
relations, benefits and compensation, recruiting and retention, performance management, staff development, building strong relationships, etc. She is an expert in performing Human Resource responsibilities with professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentially.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Western Governor’s University and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from HR Certification Institute and a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society of Human Resource Management. She is a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management, the Hanover Area Human Resource Association, and the Hanover Area Management Association.
Jennifer resides in Glenville with her husband Tim, their two children, and their two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, boating, shopping, and crafts in her spare time.
