Joining the VNA team in August 2020, Whitney brings a wealth of nursing experience and a passion for providing personalized care to her patients. Her journey in healthcare began at Carroll Hospital Center, where she dedicated nine years to both orthopedic and medical-surgical units, gaining invaluable experience in patient care and management.

After taking a year to focus on her growing family, Whitney returned to nursing at GBMC, where she served on a telemetry unit, further honing her clinical skills and dedication to patient well-being. It was during this time that she found herself drawn to the field of home health nursing, captivated by its flexible schedule and the opportunity to foster deeper connections with her patients through one-on-one care.

Starting her tenure at the VNA as a nurse case manager, Whitney's dedication and leadership quickly became apparent. In May 2022, she was promoted to the role of Home Health Clinical Manager, where she continues to excel in guiding her team to deliver high-quality care to those in need.

Whitney holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University, earned in 2009, and furthered her education with a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Administration from Stevenson University in 2016.

Outside of work, Whitney finds joy in spending time with her loving family—her husband, two daughters, and their cat and two dogs. She has a passion for fitness with activities like CrossFit and Peloton workouts and rejuvenates her spirit with quiet moments spent reading or enjoying the serene beauty of the beach.

With her unwavering dedication to her patients and her commitment to excellence, Whitney embodies the VNA's mission of providing compassionate care that truly makes a difference in the lives of those she serves.
